What modifications can I make without affecting my factory warranty?

This is one of the most common questions we get. While warranty decisions ultimately depend on the manufacturer and the specific repair concern, staying conservative with your build helps avoid issues. As a general rule, we typically recommend no more than a 2.5–3 inch lift and no larger than 35-inch tires to stay in the safer range for most factory warranty considerations. If you're unsure, our team can help guide you based on your vehicle and build goals.

What’s the difference between a spacer lift and a true suspension lift?

A spacer lift raises your vehicle by adding spacers between suspension components, giving you a taller stance and room for larger tires—but it does not improve suspension travel, articulation, ride quality, or off-road flex.

A true suspension lift replaces key suspension components with upgraded parts designed to improve ride quality, wheel travel, articulation, handling, and overall off-road capability. If you want both performance and appearance, a true suspension lift is usually the better investment.

What is wheel offset?

Wheel offset is the measurement (in millimeters) between the wheel’s mounting surface and its true centerline. In simple terms, it determines how far your wheel sits inward or outward in the wheel well.

  • Positive offset: Wheel sits further inward toward the suspension
  • Negative offset: Wheel sticks further outward for a wider, more aggressive stance
  • Zero offset: Mounting point is centered on the wheel
